I created this vertical social video while working with CO-nxt for the State of the Plate podcast. The goal was to pull a warm anniversary moment from a longer conversation and turn it into a concise social edit that could promote the show without needing a lot of setup.
This piece highlights my approach to long-form extraction: identifying the highest-value hook, tightening the pacing in Premiere Pro, and optimizing the framing and pacing for mobile retention. Instead of just cutting down footage, I focus on preserving the speaker’s natural energy while delivering a self-contained story that works without audio dependencies.
