Clever Scott: Product Launch Video Production for Harvista

Executing an energetic product launch requires strategic product launch video production. Our main hurdle was building a high-impact, exciting announcement video with absolutely zero custom live-action footage of the actual orchards. Therefore, we had to rely entirely on disparate stock assets to establish a premium, cohesive brand narrative on a strict deadline.

The Challenge of Visual Product Launches

An agricultural launch must generate genuine excitement while protecting product integrity. Because the client maintained rigid brand guidelines regarding fruit appearance, generic stock clips would not suffice. Consequently, every featured piece of fruit needed to look exceptionally fresh, clean, and precisely tailored to their strict corporate standards.

The Creative Approach and Motion Pipeline

  • Elevating the Narrative: To build the energy required for a major launch, I engineered a high-velocity editorial structure. Specifically, I timed kinetic typography and custom text animations to a rhythmic soundtrack, transforming technical features into an engaging on-screen experience.
  • Staying Intentionally On-Brand: First, I established a rigorous curation process to isolate specific fruit varieties. Next, I utilized Photoshop to prep and clean up raw layouts before animating them. As a result, the final sequence perfectly matched the agency design style guide.
  • Advanced Color Grading: Meanwhile, I corrected vastly mismatched stock clips to create a unified visual landscape. Thus, by combining custom transitions with precise color grading in Premiere, I made independent clips feel like an intentional, multi-camera commercial shoot.

The Scalable Launch Results

Ultimately, this combined editing and motion design pipeline allowed us to deliver a polished, broadcast-quality asset seamlessly. By executing advanced color matching and layout integration simultaneously, we bypassed the need for an expensive field shoot.
