For the 2021 Beats for Heartbeats music festival, I was hired to update their website to something more modern and exciting which would allow them to accept donations and sell tickets to the event.
Leading up to the event, they were in need of some promotional videos to get the word out and drive ticket sales. 2 ads were made, one to promote all the artists, and one to promote Crowder, the event headliner.
Created at Margle Media for Jeff Van Nostran. The aim of the campaign was to set him apart from other mortgage lenders in his area by delivering fast-paced edgy copy for his industry. He’s an expert in his field, but a regular guy you can relate to.
The content is a mix of stock assets, footage provided by the client, and custom motion graphics created in After Effects.
These two videos were created at Margle Media for their client, North Shore Bank. The videos were composed of stock assets mixed in with still photography provided by the client.
This video was created at Margle Media who created the initial concept and shot the video. For this campaign, they wanted to create a text-over video for use in Eyetamins social media ad campaign.
For this, I was responsible for getting inspiration from the Eyetamins website, using their brand colors, font choices, logos, etc. to create motion graphics elements that maintain the look of the brand.
Koiné Worship Media needed an animated web banner to advertise their new website. For this, we repurposed an animated video we had created to as an outro for their video posts on social media.
The animation was created in Adobe After Effects and converted to an animated gif in Photoshop.
For this project, the client wanted a closer for videos to be uploaded to their YouTube Channel which showcased all of the products available on their website. It had to be quick and it had to hold the attention of the viewer to get the message across before the viewer clicked on to the next video.
Custom animations were created for the titles using Adobe After Effects.
For this project, the agency needed an animated logo to catch the attention of Conference attendees. The logo was first cut into layers in Adobe Illustrator separating the sails, the flag, and the ship – anything which would eventually have motion was given its own layer.
The Illustrator file was then imported into After Effects where a combination of the puppet tool and displacement maps were used to give motion to the flag and the sails. A combination of the rotation tool and masks were used to make the ship appear as if it were sailing the sea and bobbing up and down behind the banner.
To add a bit of motion to the text logo, the Lens Flare effect was used to track along the horizontal edges.
For this project, the client’s in-house graphic designer created the layout for their International Women’s Day Conference Slides. The layout was created in Adobe Illustrator. The vector files were imported into Adobe After Effects and were given 3D animation and lighting to create a more dynamic introduction to their conference presentation.
For the end of the presentation, the client requested that basically the same animation be used but in reverse.
For this project, an outside production company requested 3D text to appear as if it were floating in space over tracking video shots. The effect was accomplished using motion tracking in Adobe After Effects and the 3D Text was created in Maxon Cinema 4D.
For shots where the 3D text was to float behind objects like the steel support beam in the video above, the beam was manually isolated in After Effects by creating an animated mask. The 3D text layer was then sandwiched in between the isolation beam layer and the original video file.
