B2B Commercial Video Production for the B20 Club
The Challenge
The main hurdle here was the raw interview footage. Because the subjects were everyday people using heavy verbal filler, I had to hunt through hours of recordings. Consequently, I pieced together disjointed soundbites to pull out a clear story on a tight schedule.
The Creative Approach
- Elevating the Narrative: To hold the viewer’s attention, I focused entirely on a tight editorial rhythm. Therefore, I leaned heavily on the B-roll sequences to do the heavy lifting. Fast-paced visuals successfully bridged the gaps between soundbites to keep things moving.
- Staying Intentionally On-Brand: First, I set up a direct asset pipeline to handle the custom typography layouts. Next, I animated motion graphics that strictly followed the Illinois Soybean Association design. As a result, the text overlays looked like a native part of the series.
- Advanced AI Audio and Color Correction: Meanwhile, the field footage had some massive exposure and audio hurdles. Thus, I ran the interview tracks through Adobe Podcast AI. By combining that with precision color grading in Premiere, I completely balanced the lighting inside a dark processing facility.
